I have finally started to read Homestuck and holy fuck I've been missing out. In the last couple years I'd made several attempts but I could never get that far. Now in one night I'm into act three. The first bit felt like having to eat my veggies so I could get my dessert except because its so amazing its more like having to eat one small pea and then getting to raid an entire candy shop. Super happy I stuck it out because now I'm going to have a whole new fandom to indulge my precious time and resources into.

Pixilation

Maybe I'm overreacting but lately I feel we've been seeing way too much pixilation. Honestly every other music video, advertisement or student film project seems to pixilation. Now I'm not particularly fond of it in the first place and now I have to see if all over the place. The first problem I have with it is that I feel it is a lazy version of stop-motion animation. It doesn't take a lot of effort to start and stop camera while moving random objects and people around and then end up with some jerky looking video. However it does take a lot of effort to produce a real stop motion video. Most of us are familiar with stop-motion films such as
